Welcome To Percy Shurmer Academy

Percy Shurmer Academy is part of the Academies Enterprise Trust.

We aim for all children and adults to flourish at Percy Shurmer Academy.  What this means to us is that they:

  • gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve all they can
  • develop a love of learning and enjoy their time at the Academy
  • make friends and show respect to others
  • broaden their experiences and understanding of the wider world

We will work closely with families, the Academies Enterprise Trust, the local community, our network of schools and Academies in this shared endeavour.

Year 3 - Gurdwara Visit (01/02/2017)

Year 3 went to visit the Gurdwara in Handsworth as we are studying Sikhism in our RE lessons.  We had a tour of the Gurdwara and learnt lots more about Sikhism from our guide.  We were then lucky enough to share some food in the langar hall; it was delicious!  We had a fabulous experience!
